Alexander (Sandy) Morrison
Chief Executive Officer
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) reports to the Board of Directors, and is responsible for the overall management of Barwon Child, Youth & Family. The CEO’s role provides leadership and direction for all organisational activity and, in collaboration with the Board, oversees the delivery of the organisation’s strategic and operational plans, ensuring they are in context with the vision and values of Barwon Child, Youth & Family. The CEO appoints senior staff to the Executive Management Team (EMT) which meets on a fortnightly basis to review, plan and monitor client service delivery and the organisation’s human and financial resources.
Executive Director Client Services
The Executive Director, Client Services is responsible for overseeing the operations of the Client Services portfolio which comprises the Early Years, Family and Community Services, Out of Home Care, Specialist Intervention Services, Youth Services and headspace Geelong programs.
The position will contribute to the strategic development and direction of BCYF and leadership of the above programs with an emphasis on client focused, evidence based practise, risk management, service quality, and positive stakeholder relationships.
Executive Director Corporate Services & Chief Financial Officer
The Executive Director Corporate Services & Chief Financial Officer is responsible and accountable for the effective leadership of the Corporate Services Directorate, which incorporates Finance, ICT, Facilities, Fleet and Reception. The Corporate Services Directorate enables BCYF to deliver efficient and timely services to clients, partners and stakeholders.
In addition, the Executive Director Corporate Services and Chief Financial Officer fulfils the role of Company Secretary to both BCYF and BAYSA, and provides significant contribution and support to the achievement of BCYF’s strategic and annual plans.
Executive Director People & Culture.
The Executive Director People & Culture is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of BCYF’s people focused support services. The People & Culture Directorate consists of Human Resources, Health, Safety & Wellbeing, Workforce Development which includes Learning and Development, and the Volunteer Program.
The primary purpose of People & Culture is to support client services staff in their delivery of services in line with the organisation’s Vision, Purpose and Values, and for developing and implementing strategies that ensure that BCYF is an engaging and innovative place to work.
Executive Director Strategy & Sustainability.
The Executive Director, Strategy & Sustainability is responsible for leading the organisational thinking, development and implementation of a range of organization-wide change programs and projects focussed on building capacity across Barwon Child Youth & Family.
Key portfolio areas include service development, organisational sustainability, community relations, quality and risk, information management, research and strategic planning to ensure the organisation is well placed to meet key government and sector reforms in the future. In addition, this role has overarching responsibility for projects of a strategic nature including Child and Young Person Safety, Voice of the Child and Cultural Competency.
