The Rotary Club of Belmont and Community Partners (Geelong Cats, Bendigo Business Bank, Morris Finance and BCYF) are again holding the headspace Geelong Business Charity Luncheon to “make a difference” to the health and wellbeing of the young people of Geelong aged 12-25 years old.
The event will be held on the 18th of May 2018 at the GMHBA Stadium in the Presidents Room. This year’s guest speakers are Nick Bracks and John (Dr Turf) Rothfield.
In 2017, thanks to the enormous community support, this event raised $63,000 which went directly to Headspace Geelong’s “Social Inclusion Project 2018” – essentially a Community Connection and Mentoring Project. The 2018 function is again focussed on raising significant funds so that this important project may continue into 2019.
Headspace Geelong is the busiest centre across Australia and delivered 11,428 occasions of service to some 4,000 active clients and unfortunately the demands for help far exceed the resources.
