As the proud lead agency of headspace Geelong, BCYF invites the wider community to support our region’s young people with our inaugural headspace Geelong Appeal.
This is your opportunity to contribute to a healthier Geelong now and for the future.
From June 1 to June 30, make a tax deductable donation to enhance the service we provide to our community across Geelong, Drysdale and Corio sites.
headspace provides a free early intervention service for young people aged 12 to 25 across the four pillars of mental health: physical health, mental health, alcohol and other drugs, and work and study support.
headspace Geelong is one of the busiest in Australia, with about 7300 occasions of services to more than 2000 young people. As demand grows, access to immediate help is becoming increasingly difficult to provide and additional funds are being sought to boost our service delivery capacity.
Any donation will make a big impact on young people across Geelong and the Barwon regions.
A contribution of $30 will help promote the importance of seeking help for mental health issues in our community, $50 will help design innovative ways of working with young people and $100 will help support young people to strengthen their mental health and wellbeing.
The headspace Geelong Appeal will run from June 1 until June 30.
