Street Surfer Bus

Aged between 15 and 25? Looking for a safe space? Jump on the bus.

The Street Surfer Bus is a great multipurpose community space where you can access all sorts of fun stuff, information and advice from qualified youth workers.

Kitted out with computers, wide screen TVs, playstations, a Wii, a DVD player, a (big!) stereo system and even a built in BBQ, the Street Surfer Bus is a fantastic place to come and play, learn, get informed and chill.

Offering personal development and creative opportunities including interactive computer programs, careers education, anger management, debating sessions, film clubs, arts and craft as well as information and advice about what's happening for young people across the Geelong region.

Some examples of previous activities on the Street Surfer Bus bus include substance misuse education, Chlamydia screenings, Youth Achievement Awards.

Info, advice and support - on wheels!

A mobile community outreach service that provides early intervention to young people (15-21) potentially at risk in their own environment. The bus is a safe space for information, recreation, counselling, referral and links to other services.
