Housing Pathways imageHousing Pathways Program

In Victoria, each year approximately 500 young people aged 16-18 leave State care and often must make the transition to independence without the support of a family. BCYF’s new Housing Pathways Program is aiming to reduce youth homelessness by providing additional accommodation options for these vulnerable young people.

You can make a difference by leasing your investment property to BCYF.

Some of the benefits to landlords include:

  • Guaranteed rent
  • Property insurance reimbursement
  • Upgrade of smoke detectors and annual fire auditing
  • No real estate agent fees
  • Regular property and garden upgrades and maintenance
  • Live-in BCYF volunteer mentor
